My daughter got these boots for Christmas, and she LOVES them. I do too! They are well-made, comfy (so my daughter tells me), and look the SAME as the much pricier Uggs, with a MUCH LOWER COST. What a great, MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE alternative to spending over $100 for boots that a child will outgrow. Two thumbs up!

These are great boots. The tan color seems to have less fur than the darker colors? They run small, because of the angle of the toe I guess. I would get a few sizes up from normal. They are so nice and grippy. Very good quality.

We purchased the Bearpaw Little Kid/Big Kid boots for our grandson for his winter outings when he skis. We bought them from Amazon (they’re very available in stories) But with Amazon, they were less expensive and were delivered very quickly. Their quality is also excellent, and he was very pleased with them.

5 Stars Wow, best boots ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our 2 boys (3 1/2 and 22 months ) love these boots(even want to sleep in them:))I was worried about sole being too thick(our kids have only worn preschoolians which are soft sole shoes and trip in regular shoes), but since the very tip is raised they have no problems(they also have excelent arch support)Originally we were going to go with bronte lo boots and tied them on at Stride rite store, but Stinger is a lot better. Wool is much much thicker and softer.Our youngest has high arch so it was a bit hard to put them on for the first time, but now they go on just fine. As far as size goes I think they are right on, our oldest wears 11 in regular shoes and his boots are 11(with some room to grow).Boots stay on very well(our boys had bearpaws last year and they kept coming off all the time).Also kids got some apple juice on them and I cleaned it with just water….30 min later surface was dry and no stains. These boots do let water in so we also got a spray(not emu kind) to waterproof them for snow.Great boots!!!!!!!!!!!
1 Star you dont get what you see
Inside the show box was a return slip stating this show was returned by another customer because the customer wasn’t happy with the boot..So i got a used item and whats more is that the boot is totally different then what you see on the pics. There is no emu trim on the top of the shoe also the sheepskin quality is really bad, Its yellow unlike the white you see in the pic. Also the show doesn’t fit very well, i am a size 5 womens and i ordered a size 4 M US big kid which is equivalent to my size, and i got this same size for the Uggs boots i ordered but these dont fit right…overall i was very disappointed.

5 Stars Great boots for my 8 year old daughter
I bought these for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas and she was thrilled with them. Her older sisters got uggs but she was just as happy with bear paw. Made very well. Would buy them again!
5 Stars The best for our situation
I needed to find boots for my 2 1/2 yr. old son. But most boots for boys are stiff and “clunky”. My son has a disorder that makes him a bit wobbley (weak muscles). So, when I found these boots I thought they’d be perfect…only they seemed to be adverstised for girls, and all the comments were about girls having them. I finally got hold of a representative from another site and asked if the toddler size was just for girls. She said they’re for boys as well. Yay! I ordered them and my son walks in them with almost no problem! I got the chocolate brown so they’d look extra boyish, too. I LOVE these boots. My only suggestion is they should make it clear that boys can wear these as well.

I read the other reviews first, and yes they do run small, my daughter usualy wears a 7 1/2 so I ordered the 9 goood thing! She still has grow room. They keep her feet warm, if she’s in the car and they get too warm she will kick them off, but will leave them on in the house. Theyneed to be sprayed to protect them from water. Great boot at a great price they look jus like Uggs with out the price tag. I’m looking into a pair for myself!

This boot was great, I bought for my 3 yr old. Make sure you buy a size larger then you would normally. My daughter wore a size 8 and I bought a size 9 and they fit her perfect. Very sturdy boot though and nice support. Would definitly buy again next year for her

This was an excellent value for the dollar. My daughter loves them! Only problem is you need to waterproof before wearing in snow. My young lady did not want to wait once she realized how cozy these are on the feet. I would get them again. Look good on, and a good value for growing feet.

I bought the boots for my two year old. They are wonderful for the price and keep my babies feet nice and warm. My only complaint is that the inside heel has already started to break down and tearing. The leather outer is still intact, but the liner has a hole after only 1 month of use.

I absolutely love these boots. I’m jealous that my 7yr old daughter gets to wear them and not me! I get giddy just thinking about how she’s wearing real shearling wool and suede for the very low price I paid. My daughter loves how soft they feel inside, how warm they are and how they keep her feet dry. She says they are very comfortable. I love the thick rubber sole. It gives good traction when walking on ice. If I had to change anything about these boots it would be that I wish they were a little taller (come up to the knees) and I wish they came in different colors, but I would definately buy these boots again.

4 Stars Excellent, But…
These boots are super cute (cool if you are a guy) and fit great, true to size, and an excellent quality of suede. My only negative comment is that the sole of the boot is made out of questionable material. It is made out of a foam that is almost like a flip flop. I have not had any problems with it so far, but I worry if it will be the one factor that will render a great product unwearable. It also has little to no grip. These boots are much more of a fashion boot. I wish that the sole had been made out of a heavy duty rubber or something that would ensure a long lasting sole.

Bearpaw Men’s Suede Ankle Boot – Style 418 Cooper
I purchased these boots online on Dec.4th. We received them in the mail around December 15th. My husband opened them on Dec. 25 just to discover that he couldn’t get his foot into the narrow opening at the top of this very low boot. It was the right size and everything, I can only guess it was mis-manufactured. He even has a narrow foot. It is now Jan.3rd and I am attempting to return this item to Clausette,they have a 30 day from purchase to the return at the warehouse. Before you can send the item back, you are suppose to contact them but when you try to call them, the automated message says they are not taking messages and you must email them. The return information on the receipt says you must contact them before you can return your item. I am now out of luck, they haven’t returned my email and I will have to fight with them via my credit card company to resolve this issue. Not to mention an 8% restocking fee they also want to tack on if they will even except my return. As I said in the title, Amazon should be ashamed to be affiliated with a company with such bad customer service.
5 Stars Disappointed in the weather
I suspect that I’ve bought the warmest footwear ever. The weather on the east coast hasn’t been bone chilling yet, but on the coldest day-the 20 degree mark-my feet were toasty warm. So far, I haven’t needed the Smartwool socks I bought. These boots are soft and comfortable, but walking on the totally flat soles does take some getting used to. I’m sure I won’t consider that a problem if a true winter-somewhere in the low teens-does come to the east. I wish they’d make them water repellant.

1 Star Don’t Purchase Shoes From Clausette
Never got the correct shoes – first they shipped Womens instead of Mens. 6 weeks later still no shoes or a reply to any of my emails. It is literaly impossible to contact their customer service. They don’t respond to Emails (ever) and the 1-800 number has a “We are not receiving calls” message playing 24×7.
I am not the only customer to have problems with this retailer. Almost 30% of their customers have serious issues.
Amazon – Shame – shame – shame for letting Clausette sell through your shop front. I have submitted an A-Z warranty claim through Amazon. Before this experience I had been very happy with my shopping experience with Amazon. Now I wonder about everything I purchase.
3 Stars Need a credit on a return.
We returned these for a credit because they did not fit my son. We then ordered another pair. We have not received a credit for returning the first pair. We returned them the day after we received them. We put the original purchase on our credit card.

1 Star REALLY REALLY SMALL!
These boots run SO SMALL! I heeded their warning of running small and ordered a size up. I should have ordered TWO sizes up. Never mind that their customer service is HORRIBLE and they don’t reply to email requests in time for the items to be returned. AND that they require you to purchase the item you wish to exchange for before they’ll accept the return of the too small or incorrect item. Had I purchased the larger size, I would have been stuck with two pairs of these boots. No traditional exchanges for The Clausette. Don’t even THINK about talking to a live person. Emails only. At least since December. The absolute WORST Amazon Retailer I’ve EVER dealt with.

I finally got a chance to wear my CHRISTmas gift gift this morning from my good friend walking my 4 year old Airedale Terrier,Whiskey.The Boots were FANTASTIC,and you don’t have to wear socks,and my feet were so warm.Its so easy to slip your feet in and out of the boot,and I never even slid on the Ice,but there’s not alot support for your feet.It feels like your wearing slippers.Now if I could find a glove to keep my hands from freezing,I’d be in heaven.
